We are so sorry to have to inform that Dennis Sharp (November 3, 1933) died at 9.03pm on Thursday 6th May 2010. He was amongst the founders of CICA in the Barcelona meeting of 1979, and was currently the Chairman.

The funeral will take place on the 22nd of May at 2pm at the church in Little Berkhamsted SL13 8LY.

An event to celebrate Dennis’s life will be held at the end of July at the Architectural Association in London, when a prize will be set in his name. Rather than send flowers, if you would like to make a contribution to the charity at the AA, for the ‘Sharp Prize’ (The Chairman, 36 Bedford Square, London WC1B 3ES). Travel awards and scholarships helped Dennis Sharp further his career, this prize will be used to help students at the AA and spotlight the significance of good scholarship, writing and publication.
